The extension will be finished in charred black timber cladding.

A lot of time was spent calculating the height of the extension finished floor to enable views over the rear wall of the old stable which also provides the barrier to the balcony to protect from falling off. An important aspect for detailing during the Building Regulation stage.

View perfection.

From the exposed truss to the glazed gable is a new extension created to provide views looking up at the terraced rear garden. This forms one of two children’s bedrooms.

Considering the height of the rear extension its impact on the streetscene is minimal.
